Buffer pad maintenance
I actually wash most of mine in the washine machine and then let them air dry. They will not last as long this way though. You can also wash them with an all purpose cleaner or Dawn byhand. The pads will last a lot longer with this method. There is no need to spend the extra money on a specialty pad cleaner because it is basically an all purpose cleaner.
I gouse several pads a month and washing them in the washing machine they usually last around 2-3 months. It doesn't do anything to the foam, the velcroon back of the pad starts to separate after a while.
