UPDATE: I've now realized its only this reddish purple bird ish that will not come off of the silver letters on my windshield and rear vert glass. I've tried all varieties of car soaps, windex, 409, Mr. Clean Magic eraser, the list goes on... please tell me someone has a fix for this that wont harm the vinyl, it looks horrible! [:'(]

 

i have had no problems with it but then again mine is black so you cant see if it is dirty

 

Hmm not sure, but I did end up doing the vinyl stripes on my hood when I did clay, polish, glaze, and wax and at some point it got all the hard water and spots out. Not sure which step probably the polish I wasnt really paying attention to it lol.

 

Well, I'm going out to try a crapload of elbow grease and my wash mitt, wish me luck! Or give me a better suggestion??

maybe is safe to use rubbing compound with a terry cloth since its just vynial letters

someone with more experience chime in please

but i bet that would get it off if its okay to use it on there
