hey, where is the best place to get leather interior for my car, is there anywhere that lets me customize it? like a certain color strip in the middle of each chair

Look in the phone book for auto upholstery. Theres a place a block away from me that does custom upholstery its expensive but its the best you can get. Or you can buy some used mustang leather seats on ebay. The only thing I dont like about the seats is that its cheap leather, it doesnt even look real. The only leather seats that look good are the ones that came on the mach 1's or cobras. So I'd look for some on ebay, or look for a custom upholstery shop.

 

is it really worth it? i think it looks nice, but its not worth the money imo...i think a custom cover or soemthing like that would be really cool..any websites that have previews of custom interiors???

you can find good prices at local shops for leather and interios..you just have look at the right place....its all about location

 

yea, i know it costs more than its worth, but im tryin to change the whole look of the interior.
I'll deinitly check the local leather and custom upholstery shops. I dont know if I can or not, but it would be great if I could learn how to do it and just buy the leather and paint it and put it on myself.
I have a picture of what I'm trying to copy but im gonna try to not post that untill im done and post the new pics of my car. - its a blue 99 mustang.

The leather is the same in GT's as Mach 1's or Cobra's. There is only a design difference between them all.

 

The leather in the GT's doesnt look or feel the same as the mach 1's or cobras. The ones in the GT'S/V6's have a greyish color when the mach 1 and cobra seats are BLACK! It is not the same, my friends mach 1 seats are alot different from the ones that come in the gt's and v6's. Its almost like the leather is simulated leather not real. My point being that the seats in the mach1's and cobras are ALOT NICER than the cheap Sh*t they put in the base gt/ premium v6 models. But thats what you pay an arm and a leg for!

well, can i put mach 1 or cobra's leather covers on my V6?
i found an online place for about 750? does that sounds like a right price?

also, how does it exactly work, i mean how do i put the new ones? should i take wats already on there out and replace it or just put the cover on it? would look better if i let someone professional do it?

Can't really help you on where to get it done but if you have the option, i would def lookin to getting a two-tone design, My LE came with silver in the middle and i get so many compliments about it even though it's pretty worn, it's just something you don't see every day in a mustang
