new carpet
the carpet itself is only going to cost you about $100 and its really not that hard to do ifyou have the time. all you do is pull out some of the panels and console and seats and lay the new carpet in and cut the bolt holes and that is basically it. when you buy the carpet it is already molded to fit your car so you just have to do a little trimming here and there and toss it in. i replaced mine by myself in about 2 hours.
If it's in good condition you might want to consider dying it. If not, replacing it isn't so bad. Will probably cost you between 100 and 200 for a pre-shaped carpet, and it can be replaced in a few hours. Sorry I can't be of help on where to get one though.
You can get it lots of places just google automotive carpet , but beware you get what you pay for, i got mine from summitracing.com. it was only $140, But the fit was horrible. The first was from auto trim, i took it back and got one from ACC. It was flawless but cost me $75 bucks more ... Expect to pay about $400 minimum for a trim shop to do it ...
well if i get one im guna have one of my close friends do it....he knos how to do tht crap i wouldnt dare touch it myself i would screw it up but how much did u get the carpet for online?
We replaced the carpet in the '95 vert we bought in April with pre-formed carpet from ACC. I found that most of the online and catalog vendors sell the carpet made by ACC even though the prices varied. It cost about $125 and took a couple of hours to install. If I did it again, I'd probably pay to have it done. We're pretty picky and see all of our own mistakes.
