Default Detailing Suggestions??

Hello,

I just purchased a Porter Cable 7424 and need some advice on product(s) to use for my car. I have a 2006 Mustang (black) that had some body repair work not too long ago. My problem is that the section that was repaired looks very different in the sunlight than the rest of the car - almost like a deep haze or extreme swirl marks. It has bothered me long enough, so I need to do something about it.

I was looking around on a few websites and stumbled upon products such as Pinnacle, Wolfgang, Klasse, 3M, etc. In the past, I have always used Meguiar's products, but I really need a series of products that will work with my Porter Cable 7424 and put that "deep shine" back into the entire car. Also, if anyone is familiar with CCS pads, input would be appreciated.

Any suggestions??

Nick

Check out Justin's website - www.obsessivedetail.com. He sales everytyhing you need for a PC. Meguiar's makes some good stuff. I believe the CCS pads arent suppose to use as much product at the regular LC Pads. Optimum products are great. Sounds like you have some really great swirls. Justin will help you with whatever you need, answer all your questions and has some great products that are compatible with your PC.

For a good medium swirl/scratch remover I would go with Optimum Compound. Then as a final polish my new Obsessive Detail Light polish works awesome.

I also got some of the new LC CCS pads in stock. They do hold the polish in the pad better than a standard pad. Check out my website and let me know if you have anymore product questions. I have all of these products in stock and ready to ship!
