Default Headlight Help

I just bought my cobra style clear headlights from mustangtuning.com I am going to be installing them this Friday, but I can't find the stangnet tech article on how to install them. So if anyone could be generous enough to give me the tech article or tell me what to do that would be most grateful.

Headlights and Clear Corners Guide

94-98 (Consist of a two-piece headlight setup):

- Headlights:

If you have a V6 or a GT, you will notice that the stock headlights are very dim, dark, and have many lines or fluting in the lense. There are many different aftermarket assembly's you can buy. The Cobra lens are very clear, but they also contain lines or fluting in the lens. With aftermarket assemblys, you can choose between Tinted Euro Lens, Diamond Euro Lens, or even APC Projector headlamps (which are a little more pricey but improve the beam of the bulb and also aim the beam where you want it without distracting other on-coming drivers). The Bulb number for the Headlight is #9007. There are many different style headlights out there, just look around for what you think would look best on your stang.

- Removing, Installing, & Adjusting:

You have to release the access panel to each headlight, its the plastic piece that covers the radiator, just use a pair of plier and pull up on the The headlights are held in by 3 different sections. The bottom two bolts on the assembly have 2 clips on the end of the bolt, just use a pair of pliers to release the clip and pull out. The top of each headlight is held in with a bolt in a U-clip, just pull up on the U-clip and release the section. Now that you have the old one out, the new assembly goes in the same way, but when you install the new assembly, It will probably need adjusting. The adjusting bolt is on the bottom of the assembly closest to the corner. it is adjusted with a standard Phillips head screw driver. I suggest adjusting it against a brick wall on flat ground.

- Corners:

The Corner is one of the easiest installs. It is held in by one bolt&nut. There are two different aftermarket Clear Corners you can purchase. One matches the *Stock Headlight* Look, and the other is the *Diamond* look. When Purchasing a Clear corner, I suggest buying a Mirror Bulb to get the whole Clear Corner effect. The bulb number for the corner is #3157.

My mom wont let me. She wants me to buy them from an actual company website. I'm happy with them anyways.

AtlanticBlue99 - After I posted this thread I found that site, and I printed the instructions out. Thank you though.

New question though. Since I have to remove the cover over the lights and radiator will I have to remove my hood. Doesn't that cover hold the hood prop?

no you dont have to take off the hood, the little flaps that cover the lights fold up and thats all you have to take off.

Well I got the headlights in. Just the bolt on one of them broke because my friends decided to try to force it in. My cornors on the other hand don't fit properly. Also they wont go into all of the proper brackets. Found a crack on the piece that holds the headlights and cornors in. Also this car will never really be what I want it to be, so I'm saving up for a brand new gt.

Nice choice, pricey but I'm sure you'll enjoy a GT more than the 3.6. When you say new are you talking about a 05 or just a new car being a GT? Since the headlights don't fit right into the brackets have you tried to return them for a refund?

Can't return them. If I return them I have to return all 4 of them, and then go back to the stock headlights which are just too foggy.
