Default Side Scoop Delete

Does anyone know of a way to take the side scoops off a 04 stang without having holes in the side? I'm thinking of painting a peice of black sheet metal and attaching it the same way the scoops are held on so that the flat part on the side is just an exterior design accent. I hate the way the side scoops don't do anything and 1 of the coolest parts of the outside of the mustang is supposed to get air to a fake scoop.

never seen any way to delete the side scoops BUT they do make ones that look a little more functional than stockies and look a lot better.

Didn't the Bullitt have deletes? I know for a fact that the FR500 did. You're best bet is to take it to a body shop and pay them to fill the holes and blend/paint the area.
I think mustangs look pretty good without the scoops.

if u take it to a body shop, its more money than its worth and then your car will have bondo all over it, I'd just leave it, or buy the functional ones....

There are no such thing as functional side scoops for our cars at the moment... Some cars use side scoops for brake heat but after looking closely at alot of cars at the philadelphia car show this weekend, I noticed that many have the air routed to come up through the back. I wonder if there would be any benefit of creating ducts throught the trunk...
