Default Painting Interior

Just picked up a 97 GT, the interior is a little fadded, was thinking about painting all the panels to match the exterior color of the car , I dont have an expereince or knowledge on painting interiors was wondering what kind of paint I should pick up , along with any form of clearcoat to use, and when finished would i just clean it as normal and use armor all?? Appreciate the input.

When I did the vinyl in my older Ford, the automotive paint store had vinyl specific paint. I went darker, from a green to black. The results were better than I expected.

Clean it with alcohol, primer it then paint it with upholstery paint... use like 3 coats and you wont need to clear coat it...

using armour all is probably why its faded in the first place. That stuff will fade and crack your dash over time, instead of armour all i use a spray that is used for hot tub covers.
