k everything ive seen is for the inside...what do yall use for leather seats?

my buddy said (and ive heard this plenty of times for me to think its fake) that armorall cracks leather. so whats safe to use? i accidentally left a thing of papers in my back seat and the heat caused the ink to uhh...transfer to the seats...so now i have crap 'written' all over my damn backseat.

Any good name brandLEATHER cleaner/conditioner. I prefer Lexol because it is two separate chemicals. The orange bottle is the cleaner, and the brown bottle is the conditioner. Leaves the leather conditioned and smelling nice

No to the armor all [:@] While vinyl dressing products will leave it looking good, they are not meant for leather and will not properly condition the leather.

armor all does make leather specific wipes, though. i've used them a couple times and they work pretty decently.

If you are looking for an awesome leather cleaner/conditioner/protectant you should check out my Leather Condioning Spray. It isn't greasy and dries to a nice clean finish plus it has a pleasant leather scent to it.

how about this...
I put my street drags in my car on a sheet and the sheet moved, so the oil from the rubber is in my seat. Can i do anything to get that out? I tried hte nail polish remover. that cleaned up all the rest of the seat nicely, but not the rubber oil. Thanks!

You will need to use some type of solvent to get rid of the oil. I use this stuff called Power Solvent by ProChem that works really well on oil, tar, etc.

Joey

After thinking about the Power Solvent, I don't think I would go with that on leather. It works really well on carpet and upholstery, but I'm afraid it might discolor leather. I get the Power Solvent from Jondon.com. They have great customer support, you might want to call them and ask about the product.

On leather I always, use all purpose cleaner diluted and use a detailing brush to agitate the leather. I've been able to get out most stains with this method. Then top it with your favorite leather conditioner/protectant.

I use Blue Magic products to clean my leather seats/steering wheel.

It comes in two separate bottles, one being the leather cleaner, the other being the leather conditioner. I follow the instructions on the bottles, and have found them to be pretty easy to use.

The Blue Magic products are OK to use on vinyl, which is great for us Mustang guys since our seats are a combination of leather AND vinyl.
