Default I Think My Car is a Target

I spent yesterday afternoon detailing my car with the Turtle Wax detailer. It really works great on making my black paint shine. I make sure not to park my car around any trees or buildings. I walk out to my car this morning and was so pissed to see bird **** on my roof and hood. Is it just that its black or that I detailed it? The whole car also has a lightcoating of dust from a nearby construction site. Guess this means I will have to breakout thesuppliesand start all over again...damn birds! [:@]

I'd park a black car under a pine tree for a month without washing before taking a California Car Duster to it........

You can get away with it on white or silver toned cars, it's hard to see all the scratches and swirls...

But for black, dusting isn't ever an option. It's either wash or use a ton of detail spray gently.

Scooby, you should give www.obsessivedetail.com a try. Juztang carries his own line of custom detail spray, he threw in a bottle for me with a big order once and it's hands down the best detail spray I've ever used. I have a black car, so trying to preserve the swirl/scratch free finish I have is a top priority. I don't have to use massive amounts of his detail spray to remove a good dusting because it is thick & not runny like most detail sprays.

I've used it in the sun and it still leaves a streak free finish. This stuff is so good that I actually just purchased an entire gallon....

You could also try the DRI WASH 'n GUARD Ultra-Ion. It's awesome at removing organic material (such as bird droppings). It's also a glaze, and has UV Protection, and is as easy to use as any quick detailer.

Curtis....Don't forget that you can make Quick Detailer with the No Rinse you got. The dilution ratio is on the bottle, you can get a gallon of quick detailer with just a few ounces of the No Rinse, this is very cost effective quick detailer too!

I bought the waterless wash from obsessive detail, holy cow, it seriously takes 15 minutes and looks good. Better than when soap and water wash. What's a california duster?
