Just picked up a 91 GT. When I saw the roof and hood it looked like it just had water spots. So I used a clay bar and Meguiar’s soap. The spots did not come out. So I took it to a detailer. He said the paint was damaged possibly by acid rain and he only got 30% out. He susgested painting the hood and roof only. Was wondering if I should try anything else? see if someone can blend the paint good or just pay the 5,000 to get the whole car painted.

Pics would help out. Try a 50/50 mix of vinegar and water to take the spots out and then polish.
