Default Painting interior

Im sure a lot of you feel the same way, im wanting to paint the interior of my car, its 2 two tone, gray and black (luckily its not black and tan, i hate that ugly tan color) has any one ever done this personally, i just finished painting the gauge bezel and instrument cluster bezel a navy blue. Wondering if its worth the effort to do it myself, im confident i could do it without any runs and such. but what kind of paint would i need.

I painted mine, and have had no issues with it. I am not sure what the "recommended" paint is, but I used engine enamel, the idea being that it iften gets very hot in the interior, and I did not wish to have the paint get soft or fade in the summer heat. I picked it up at pep-boys. I know there are people selling interior paint kits, but as I understand, they are just relabeling auto paint and selling it at higher prices.

Just make sure you 1) wash the components, 2) wipe down with alcohol, and 3) use a primer and clearcoat along with your color paint.

They make special paint for vinyl interiors. I've seen it in restoration catalogs, but I can't remember which ones.

I used it on the dash bazel, both airbag covers, the center console bezel, heat vents, shifter bezel and the door handle bezels. Only the white components were painted. the chrome items are UPR, which I sell on the site, as well as the diamond plate floormats. The dash was already black.

Dang, that looks really good. What is a good color to go with a Canari yellow paint job. For the interior. Kinda like an oppisite of yellow is what I was thinking. What ever color that may be. Any suggestions for colors?
