headers
For a street car looking to run low 1/4 mile times...Long tubes are the way to go.

Long tubes increase upper rpm HP substantially, while increasing your TQ a respectable number.

Shorty headers will increase your TQ substantially, while increasing your upper rpm HP a respectable number.

So ultimately, you have to take into consideration what you want for your application. If you have 3.73's, or 4.10's, I'd save some money and buy the shorties, do the install yourself.. those gears will get you off the line so hard & so fast it will make up for using shorties rather than long tubes.

I know absolutely nothing about unequal headers...hoped I helped!

Equal length is better, but try putting them on, I wasn't that bad putting the unequal lengths, but I bet that the equals will be really hard. My advice is do what I didn't do, buy longtubes, way better. Also, a tip if you going to put in the shorties, put the driver's side in from under the car, but then take the smog rubber air tubes out on the passenger side, along with the air cleaner, and drop in the header from the top, WAY WAY EASIER.
