Ok, I am going to be doing a full detail on my car and i want to make sure that i am doing the right steps in the right order.

1. Wash and dry

Yes,
You are correct. As far as polishes go, it all depends on how much polish you need to use for the job. But it will last a long time if you are just using it for your own personal vehciles.

Everything looks good Dan! If you are just using the polish to clean your paint and bring out more shine and reflection a bottle will probably last you around 16 cars. If you are going to try to correct light swirls and such you won't get as much out of the bottle.

I don't know if you noticed yet, but most of the items you are looking to get are currently on sale too!

Danase, thanks for the info. Yes, i will be using it for only my car.

Juz, i am going to be concentrating on the swirl marks. my paint is very clean and is always smooth, but in the sun in certain ways you look at my car you can see some minor swirls. i have noticed that those products are on sale.

Thanks!
