I'm looking at tinting my windows anywhere from 20% to 32% all around. I live in GA so as of today there is no tint law, but they are looking at putting it back into place. If the law is passed, then i have to go w/ 32% b/c there will be no grandfather clause, but i would prefer 20%. I have been around town at shops and none of them have samples of what the tint looks like, how gay is that. Do any of you have a picture of 32% tint or 20% tint on your cars? My car is Mineral Gray, so i need an idea of what 32% looks like to compare to 20%. Any websites w/ demos or something?

 

I used to be a tinter so it depens also on the color of your interior. The darker the interior the darker the tint will "look". I have 20 on all my other cars along w/ the windshield @ 35. But, on the Cobra I did 35 on the sides 20 on the rear window and 35 on the windshield. Sorry no pictures but maybe in a couple days. But, it looks clean man. ezpecially w/ the charcoal/charcoal interior.

I just put 25% on my shaddow grey o4. I'll post pics Wednesday.

 

i dont think he wants to spend a 1000$ on new rims...just 150$ on tint....but he does need them...

i have an 04' dark shadow grey with charcoal grey interior i have 50% on the front windows and 35% in the back...im from jersey so the fronts are illegal but i havent gotten stopped yet...i think they look great but they could be a little darker but i didnt want that....if i were you i would do 35% on the fronts and 20% in the backs

a word of advice is make sure you get someone good to tint them because that dot matrix **** sucks!!!!!

 

I just did tint and i dunno i didnt care all tha tmuch bout the tint law. Its not enforced that harsh. A friend of mine has 10 on his trans am and has never been stopped.

 

So get some stockers off of an '02+ gt.... $300-$400 for both wheels and tires.

 

anything is better than what hes got right now, but he'd be better off saving up for some nicer rims in the future than spending money on "ok" rims right now
