Grill Deletes SUCK!!
Geez-- I'm beginning to wonder if replacing my stock grill with a mach 1 delete is even worth it.
Is there anyone with a 99-00 stang that had a TON of trouble getting the bolts on the bottom of the grill off. Mine seem to be completely rusted and practically stripped. It took a half hour and a ton of WD40 to get one off. We gave up and will have to work on it another day, but it's really ridiculous.
Also, whomever has one on their car... did you use your stock hardware, or replace it with new hardware? I think I might get new hardware as most of that is crappy and almost stripped too.

See, mine came from mustangtuning.com and is the 3 piece set, but no new hardware. I suppose I'm supposed to use the old hardware then?

i guess so. Mine came from steeda. I think it just snapped in, and glued down with double sided tape. Then it came with a couple bolts to hold the horse on, and screw the top piece down with existing..

I just can't get the damned bolts off the bottom. Arg! I got so cold standing out there, I'm gonna work on it another day. When it's warmer.
i had the same problem as well - it helps if you have a shorthandled wrench or even better, a ratchet wrench. i actually was getting a fender fixed around the same time so i just gave up and had the guy do it for me.... [&:]
I had the same prob. What I did is take the headlights out and bend the top of the bumper out as far as i could safely bend it and then undid the bolts. major pain and i wouldn't advise bending the bumper like me, but it worked....safest alternative is to remove the bumper i guess?
