Can i remove my 1995 v6 passenger side air bag panel off? It says SrS on it. Will it be ok or will it explode?

I would take it to a body shop and let them remove it. Usually they've removed them before and put new ones in.
I would be scared to mess with it.

Why do you need to remove it?

But anyways just removing the panel isnt going to set off your airbag. You make it seem like that little panel is keeping it from inflating. You airbag wont go off unless the crash sensor is triggerd which in turn signals the inflator and so on and so forth.

i think it will be fine as long as the sensors arent triggered, which they are at the front of the car. just make sure you connect your battery and wait a couple minutes before you start playing around with it. im pretty sure you have to take the whole airbag setup out and not just that panel that goes across the front of it, but im not positive.
