im getting my 95 GTS painted orange and want to get black on it too...but i have no idea where to put it...i know on the sides with it on the door then curving around back across the door then starting again ending on hte side of the front bumper...but i want to get more than just that...like something onthe hood...im thinking about getting the spoiler on the back painted black...but i dont know about the hood...any ideas?...it just has a regular 95 GT body

 

have you thought at all about doing all orange with black accents? like black wheels and tail lights and spoiler, chin spoiler, etc?

it would be cheaper than 2 tone and if you ever decided to change the theme to something different than black you wont be stuck with the black everywhere

 

i like teh all orange paint job with the black stripes and the black on hte hood or something with the clear headlights and chrome reals better...the black rims adn dark headlights just dont look good to me...like on dark red cars i like both but orange not really to me

 

i like the look of the spoiler, taillights, and panel between the lights painted black and then some black bumper inserts(excuse my photoshop abilities) and then on the front do the boss stripes and a chin spoiler if you can find one. for the wheels i would go with some black bullits with a polished lip, but if you like chrome then they wont look bad either. you could also look into black chrome.

 

thanks...im probably going with a darker orange but that looks good...i like teh boss stripes...yeah ive seen a 95 cobra with chrome rims and clear headlights that looked good so im probably going with that...actually heres a link to that car...

i dont think i could pull off the triangle black hood stripe without the two hood scoops so thats why i was trying to find a different one...and because i didnt want to just copy that cars paintjob

 

yeah...with the stock gt hood/bumper i dont think that the triangle pattern would look as good. and if you are going to go with the "c" stripes down the car i would go with the ones that just go on your door and not all the way up to the front bumper. and i dont really like the stripe on the mirror, but they do look good painted.

 

im thinkign of just going with the boss stripes and just painting the entire wing on the back black....or at least something like the boss stripes...i was searching and was actually able to find some boss style ones but it didnt say boss on it...

 

yeah, you can find those style stripes that say just about anything mustang related on them. just have to do a little searching. i like the idea of the boss stripes and painted wing and at least the black letters on the back if you dont want to go with too much black.

 

yeah i know definitly the letters on the back i had those on the 03 yellow mustang that i used to have that my mom now has and those looked good so im definitly getting those...then the boss stripes with the black wing and possibly black around the tail lights sounds good ...thanks

 

what do you mean black around the headlights?? if im thinking what youre thinking then i wouldnt do that....looks a little tacky in my opinion. what i would do is take a picture of your car to the chop shop section on these forums and tell them exactly what you want done to it and they usually do a great job. they will put all the stripes and paint what you want black and put whatever rims you want on there. just have a picture of an orange gt like the one you will have and a picture of the rims and they can hook you up. they will do a much better job than i did...
