I am looking to change the color of my stripes but first i need to remove the old ones.It isthe standard Mach 1 hood stripe. Thanks.

 

Take the car for a ride. Make sure the engine compartment is nice and warm. It'll help...

Use a blow dryer or heat gun to soften the sticker and pick a corner and work it slowly. Pick up a bottle of goo-gone and use it to remove any of the left over glue.

Depending on the conditions your car is parked or driven in, be prepared to have a bit of a color difference underneath where the old vinyl was.
