a company called raggtop makes a pretty good kit. it comes with 2 bottles (cleaner & conditioner). i have it for my 94 and like it. i know you can order it offline, but im not sure if you can find it in many stores. i have never really looked.

Ragg Top is really good for vert tops. I usually clean convertible tops with a diluted all purpose cleaner and a scrub brush to agitate. Lately I've been putting my Silk Shine on my vert top and it looks great.

Juztang,

What ratio do you dilute the APC to? Will any over-the-counter APC do the trick? Are they safe on paint in case of runoff?

I dilute my APC 10:1 for vert top cleaning and general cleaning. It won't hurt the paint.

You can get Simple Green over the counter, it isn't as safe to use as my APC though.

I have some SG APC in my collection, it works pretty good but, I've heard that it has a high PH level, this is what makes it unsafe.

Juztang,

Thanks for your input. I'll be making a purchase from you in the next couple weeks and I will add your APC to the list.

I have nothing useful to post with regard to this topic, but that is a frickin' gorgeous car. I'm jealous. :P

Raggtop is fair. I had some blems on my parchment top, & that stuff woulden`t budge it. I wound up using Simple Green & a small soft scrub brush, & now it looks like new.
