How much should i expect to pay for my car to be detailed. I mean like washed, waxed on the outside, and on the inside to have my seats shampood and also the carpet?

It really just depends on what area you are in, the market really varies. I would probably charge at least $150 for something like that, possibly more depending on how bad the carpet and seats were. I would just call a few local places that are reputable and get some prices. Also you want to make sure they are actually shampooing. A lot of people just spray on a carpet cleaner and then suck up with a dry vac, that isn't actually shampooing. Make sure they are using a hot water carpet extractor, you will get the best results with this.

Anywhere from $60-$200 depending on how good of a job you want done. You get what you pay for. Personally I'd be in the $120 range with NO paint work or claying.

Down here in south florida I would charge between 130-150 like Justin said depending on condition of the vehicle.

Well im about to get mine done next weekend heres what im paying. First they are doing a chemical wash on the car to take out all the hard water spots $90. Then $160 for inside, outside, and shampooed inside. Then $40 for clay bar. Then $40 to fill in all the paint chips and spots with touch up paint, and finally $10 per front light and fog lights to polish out the hard water spots on there. They also polish the windshield, but that is free since im military. Really expensive, but excellent condition when done.

$340 seems extremely steep for a detail, and i dont even see a polish, wax or sealant listed anywhere in there. but to the OP, you should expect anywhere between 75-200, depending on the quality of work done.

40.00 for a claybar!! That takes 30 minutes and should only charge 20-25.00. Is that what you want done? Or did they upsell you pretty well?

The polish, wax, and sealant is being done that was included in the 160 for the inside and outside. 40 dollars is what it runs here in hawaii for the claybar. But usually i do the whole detail myself, but i had bad hard water spots that i couldnt remove myself so i am just going to have them do everything i will post pix when its done they do an awesome job.
