My vista blue 06 GT is getting a new hood in about a week (cervinis ram-air) and a black billet grille w/ fog-light delete. I have the black xenon back panel on it already, and the black on vista blue looks great. I have been stuck on painting my stripes either black or silver for some time and the day is almost here.

I've googled everything and the only pictures I have found of black stripes has been a sonic blue mustang with a supposedly bad paint job that even the owner admitted to needing to have redone. It did kinda turn me off of black stripes though. I am also looking to get gloss black as opposed to this which I think is matte black.




Anybody seen black stripes on VISTA blue, and does it look better than this? I just hope it doesn't get even more lost in my darker color. I'm just looking for opinions. Silver or black? I don't want to walk out disappointed after spending that kind of money. Anybody who feels like photoshopping, my car:

if you go with black, I would go with a high gloss myself (like the back panel)-what about white strips? Just a thought.

 

thats definately reassuring i've been reading up on some other black/blue posts and I've noticed some look bad and some look good, but I'm not sure I've seen a really metallic black. As for white, I've considered it, I just don't like the way it runs into my black panel in the back (i've seen a picture of this) plus I like the really dark look w/ black, since I also plan on tinting the rest of my windows

 

I recently put silver on mine. One big, two pin stripes. Of course I'm going to say I like it, sorry no pics. Basically I copied the stripe that was on the Baltimore pop up ad on this site. Personally, I don't like the black. Put it on in tape before you paint it, hate it and have to repaint the car. Good luck
