I am wondering what someone other than me thinks of this on my car, I plan on painting the front little lip black to match my spoiler and hood scoop, all opinions are welcome. I am also putting on black bullet wheels and painting my brake callipers red

You've done a good job makin it look good, so far and I think the splitter would look awesome. but I'd get the whole kit, cuz the front will look way lower than the sides and rear. I've been doing the same thing, silver/black theme. You should get a black ford emblem too!! im gettn mine in soon. But yeah those black deep dishes will look sweet!!!

Yeah man, I'd get the bumper first tho, cuz I got my exhaust first and when i got ym gt bumper the tips were way below the bumper. i had to go back and have them reheat the tips and fit them in the cutouts, they did it for free but it would have been easier if I just got the bumper first. Just somethin to think about, but it really doesnt matter you can always do either later on...

OK i'm confused.
You titled it Steeda Splitter
Then you comment on painting the "front lip" which looks like a mach 1 chin spoiler. Why would you paint that if you're just gonna cover it with the steeda splitter.
re: Jimmz There is no whole kit from steeda. They kinda expect the sides to be that low.

I think it would be cool if you get the steeda splitter and have it painted black at the part of the splitter that protrudes forward. This will help it not constrast as much on the sides (as the red will pretty much hold the same line). That could be pretty hot.

OHHH!!! WOW I feel smart I thought he was talkin about getting a steeda splitter. Read what he says carefullyl!!! What he is talkin about is his mach 1 chin spoiler lol. Yeah I wouldnt paint it cuz it will just flake off, actually i saw a guy the other day with a silver stang and he had his chin spoiler painted, it actually looked really good. but its gonna suck when he scrapes it... but yeah the chin spoilers arent meant for painting...

I've heard of people who paint the mach 1 chin spoiler and it apparently looks really good. Just make sure they use a flexible primer/paint/clear coat...
