Default Cleaning foam pads?

I have a PC 7424 and I've heard different things about cleaning the pads after use. I know that a pad spur is needed to get off the excess while working, but what about cleaning after the job is finished?

Snappy Pad Cleaner works well or you can use a little Simple Green / warm water mix.

i clean mine after every use, let them soak with simple green for about 5 minutes, then run under warm water..

you said something about a pad spur - are you using compounds that gum the pad up?

An old toothbrush will work fine to spur a pad.
