It's a lot louder at idle...but at WOT the Magnaflow exhaust I have bolted up is just as loud!!

It sounds cool, doesn't sound nasty or raspy either. I'm going to bet cut-outs will sound friggin awesome on a GT...

I wonder what kind of difference on a GT it would make, especially yours.

I'm willing to bet if I put them on before my cats (considering I have a Magnaflow exhaust already) I would see 5-10HP MORE than whatthe Magnaflow exhaust adds BOLTED up.

Now if I had a stock exhaust, or Flowmaster or whatever other company, I bet I would see 15-20hp from cut-outs.

OK, i want to take the mufflers off my 96 gt, how would i go about doing that? and is it illegal to do so? it looks like it had the stock dual exhaust on it when i bought it and then i put some custom 12" chrome tips on the exhaust.
