What are the numbers on magnaflow????? Everyone or almost everyone says that they are better than flowmaster what are the exact numbers

 

I bet flowmaster cat-backs give 1 - 2 hp over stock on a stock mustang, where as magnaflow will give 5 -8 hp over stock. Thats a big difference, and will be worth even more if you have other mods.

 

How loud are the magnaflows?

 

I really don't care how loud they are if one is going to give me more hp thats the one i want<IMG src=smileys/smiley4.gif border="0">

My setup is quiet at idle, and loud as ALL hell at WOT. I took the mufflers off today for the hell of it, it only idled louder. @ WOT my Magnaflows were the same volume.</P>

wow that does sounds great! this may be a stupid question, but is there sometimes too much sound? when i take my car to the drag strip, which is about an hour and thirty minutes, will i just be deaf afterwards or what? thats the only problem i am worrying about at this point. i definately like hp gains over the flows, its just that sound issue.

 

Nope, no dreaded drone with magnaflow, I even have longtubes and the magnaflows (not magnapacks) are just as quiet (but alot deeper) than stock at idle and light throttle, except between 1600 and 1900 rpm, then its kinda loud, but not really as long as your not giving it much gas.
