Default Seat stain *help please*

I bought my car a few months ago, and I didn't notice at the time that there was a rather large stain on the driver's seat where you sit. It kind of looks like a bleach stain. I've tried a whole bunch of cleaning products and a steam cleaning, but it won't come out of the seat.

I have the two-tone dark charcoal cloth interior with the lighter gray cloth in the seat inserts. What do you think can be done about this? Would an auto upholstery place be able to do anything? I'm at a loss here...

If its bleached out, there isnt anything that can be done besides having the seat dyed. At my detail shop, if we cant get it out with Formula 50 and a steam cleaner, there is little to no hope of anyone getting it out. You could check with an upholstry shop and see what the price would be to have just that piece of material replaced. They should be able to match the color.

Or some color matching inserts?

Well, I guess I'll take it to the upholstery shop to see what they can do with it. Hopefully it won't be too expensive to fix. The only problem is that the cloth material on the insert is not a solid color. It's cross-hatched. I went ahead and took a picture so that you guys can see what I'm talking about.

Do you think all the lighter gray inserts could be fairly easily replaced with a different solid color on all the seats? I really don't like the looks of racing seats.

I'd just leave it alone. You can barely see it. If your gonna get them re-upholstered then go with leather!! Or if you want cloth then yeah get the different color inserts and do both seats, I'd do a dark color tho, like black...

The only way I'll be able to keep sitting in that seat is to convince myself that it's NOT a pooter stain... Good Lord.

Anyway, the matching seat insert idea is pretty good, except my car is black. Do you think solid black inserts would look good with dark charcoal seats? The other thing is, the back seat has the same gray inserts, so I'd have to get those done too to match. How much do you think that would cost?
