Default scratched front spoiler

Well, I did it. I hit one f/n curb while parking and my Roush front spoiler is scratched. How do I fix this? Do I just get some touch-up paint from the dealer and put it on? Is there anything else that needs to be done? (e.g buffing)
Thanks....

Where on the spoiler did you exactly scratched it? I smacked the bottom so I just use some paint and fixed...besides its hard to see...I assume you scratched the front?

I found these 2 threads about Rhino Liner for the chin spoiler because I'm sick of worrying about it and cringing as I hear the scrape as i go over bumps even at an extreme angle. I haven't seen this done this on an 05+ but I'm thinking about doing it soon. Maybe a 1/4" color matched lip along the bottom.

if its just your spoiler, take it off your bumper there should be like 2 bolts or some clips.... if its not cracked and just scratched take some 250 grit sand paper to it preferrably D/A, see if itll feather edge, if not use some body filler or epoxy, plastic repair.. when it dries sand it smooth... Youll have to scotch bright the rest of the spoiler, blend your paint then re clear the whole thing......

touch up paint looks like ***!!!!!!

And you could use a Rhino linnging... but just get some rocker spray from your Paint store its not near as strong as hino but itll help against scratches and chips and alot less noticeable.... and fully paintable!

Thanks for the responses guys. The scratches are on the front of the spoiler. The only one that really notices it is probably me and every other car enthusiast-- but that's all I look at when I walk to my car. Drives me nuts.
Now I always look at other people's spoilers to see if they did the deed too! I also look at people's rims to see what kind of scratches and curb rash they've acquired. I look at hood scoops, side scoops, rear spoilers, and God knows what else-- just to make sure they're flush. Man, it's just a sickness. I'm gonna buy a Jeep next time just cause it looks better when it's all jacked up.
