Default Tree Sap!

Urrrrr! I waxed my car today and noticed by this evening I had tiny specs of tree sap all over the car!

I whipped out my Meguiar's detailing spray along with a Microfiber towel and wiped all the crap off of it. Then gently covered her up with a car cover.
Man do I hate tree sap! I guess it must be coming from Pine Trees???

Do any of you guys have this problem?

Hi 07,
I live in an 85 year old house with 2 huge blue spruce's in front. My 98 Dodge truck sits in the street and gets sapped all spring and summer. Heck I use gas to clean it off. The Stang gets the garage of course, so it doesn't get sapped. They're great trees during the winter but really nasty in the summer. Meguiars eh? Where do you get that? Thanks.

Mine sits in the garage, and when I go to park I avoid spots with trees hanging over them

Right now I can't get my stang in our two car garage......it's full of business stuff. However this summer we plan on building another two door garage in the back.
The sad part is, I only have one tree (Live Oak) that sits in the middle of our front yard and it's young so the branches are not sprawling all over the place or near the driveway. Now behind our fence there are numerous Pine Trees. I know in the coming months pollen will start to fall and leave a yellowish residue on everything. So for now, I'll just have to be patient and keep the car cover on it at night and wipe it down good with the Meguiar's Detailing spray.

Try Meguiars #6 cleaner wax 2 step does both and Meguars #34 final Inspection detailer. You can buy both at an automotive paint store. The final Inspection can be bought by the gallon. They come in tan bottles. Far superior to the mainline variety in the discount stores. Makes it 100% easier to get grime and materials off your paint. Use it and you'll be hooked forever.
