does anybody know what shops usually charge to get tint REMOVED???

and than idk wht i wanna do with my car.

OPTION 1 - tint the whole thing 20%

OPTION 2 - tint the whole thing 15%

OPTION 3 - tint the rear window and the 1/4 windows 15% and tint the front 20%

people say that the size of the windows matter?? bc it allows more light to come through and make tints look darker/lighter?? idk

my friend with a jetta GLI got 15's all around and i cant even see in the damn things

but i think 20's might be too light for my liking

so idk what to do

here is a pic of my car.. the tints are kinda purple. i think they are 20's. sometimes they look too light. sometimes they look good. just depends on the lighting of course

you should be able to peel the tint off yourself. its basically a big sticker stuck to your window. you can start by picking at a corner and then pull the rest of it off. you can get the residue off with some goo gone.

 

haha.. bor, F*** the pO-lice... idc about them. im more worreid about how it looks lol.. 5% is WAYYYY too dark

 

should i wait for it to get hot out?? its like35 degrees where i live right now lol

 

just use a hair dryer to heat it up a little, it will soften up the adhesive.

5% all the way around, if your gonig to do it, just do it. If you ever get pulled over just have your windows rolled down. Legal in most states is rediculous, so if your worried about that, then I wouldn't even tint them. And as far as having your old tint removed, I think it's worth it to have them remove the old tint. I got my windows tinted and had them remove the old tint and they only charged me $20 to remove it. Definately worth $20 to not have to deal with all of it.

 

Having the tint shop remove it can get expensive. Mainly the rear window because of the defroster.

 

I like the look of 20% any darker looks too dark
