Default Mineral Grey

I dont know if I am posting in the correct section but anyways I have a 2003 Mineral grey and i have numerous marks on my doors from other jerks hitting my car with their doors. What is the best way to fix these marks? And if anybody with a mineral grey is out there and has done this could you please tell me what to use or avoid? Thanks

it all depends on how deep they are if you can fell them you will have to get them painted but if you cant feel it you could buy a porter cable buffer nad use some polish and it may help get them out

^ you said nad.

Mineral Grey is a forgiving color. You can get some matching touch-up paint from Advance/Walmart/Auto Zone or even the dealer.

Since you don't have much experience with it, I would find the smallest spot you have and touch it up per the instructions on the touch-up bottle. See if touching it up that way will satisfy you or if you really want to be crazy about it and pick up a buffer, compounds and learn to wet sand.

If the marks aren't into the paint you can polish them out. Paint transfer from other peoples vehicles is pretty easy to remove. My Light Polish works great by hand for removing paint transfer, scratches around the door handle, fine scatches, swirls, etc. If the scratches are too deep you will need to get some touch up paint as mentioned above.

Mineral Grey was not a color option in 2003 for the Mustang, it was replaced with Dk Shadow Grey for 2003 & 2004. Mineral Grey was a mustang color in 2001, 2002 and 2005. So first make sure you are buying the right paint.

Look at your drivers side door jamb label and get teh factory paint code. TK is Mineral Grey and I believe Dk Shadow Grey is CX.
