Default Wrecked cars

I have been thinking is it a bad idea to buy a wreaked car? I mean would it not work like before it got wreacked if fix up or is there something that can't be fix beside the title?

I got a question does it cost alot to fix a wreaked mustang with the front only damage?

I really would like everyones thoughts on this. Because I want to buy another mustang after I get back from basic this summer. But I don't know what kind to get and I have been reading that buying a wreaked car is way cheaper and cheap to fix to depending on the kind of car.

Oh yeah, how does a car became only able to be destory. I was looking in ebay and a guy said that the car was not able to get a title in any state and that it was DESTRUCTION ONLY. Here is the look, http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB....cWAT.m240.lVI

I just wanted to know because the car looks damm cool,(yes, I am acting like a kid but I still got one year before I got to be an adult by law)and is there any way to fix it to get a title?

That car looks terrible.

Has no air bags, can't be registered anywhere in the USA without them.

There isn't much wrong witha wrecked car, however all the money you'll be investing - you'll never seen a return on it. Almost everybody runs....and runs fast when they know a car has been wrecked.

But if you insist on buying one that is already repaired, take it for a test drive. Make sure it tracks straight, go in a parking lot and crank the wheel and do a couple complete turns, listen for weird noises or if the car hops any. Hit the brakes hard a few times. Hit a few bumps, just make sure everything checks out that you atleast feel like you aren't riding in a piece of crap. Be prepared to troubleshoot odd drivetrain issues too.

If you buy a wrecked car, the big thing you need to do is make sure the frame is okay before you buy it. Personally, unless you have the ability to fix it yourself or if you have a friend you can trust to do the work, I'd steer clear if you want a reliably repaired car.

its going to cost much more to fix that car correctly than it will be to buy a 96 gt that is in decent condition. You can find the 96-98 GT's for $6K in good condition. that car on ebay will probably sell for 1500 and it will cost you at least 4500 to fix it back to good condition, and even then you will still have a car with a salvage title (if you can even get a title for it). You are much better off waiting around for one that is in decent shape.

I guess so. As for the repairs my old man knows people who can fix engine things and body work too..

Hey have anyone heard or use this website. I was looking of police impounds since I seen them in the new ads and how cheap they are and all that good stuff. But anyone heard if that website is good? If it is, hell I wanted to be a member, the prices seem great for the cars.

Usually cars that are junk titles and are for destruction only are cars that have been burned beyond recignition and are unfixable. A mustang that has been wrecked in the front end is very repairable if you have a frame machine. If you don't have a frame machine and proper measuring tools then you will never get the frame perfect so nothing will bolt on right and therefore it won't drive right.
And something is wrong, that car on eBay is very fixable

That is what I thought because it seems like little body damage in the front. But right now, I wanted to find out about that website chose cars , to see if it is for real. Because it has a few good cars.

lol im sory but that car is hidious! You can pick up a used 2000 Gt on craigslist for around 5000 w low miles, way cheaper than it would b to buy that and repair it, plus it would have a clean title.

rollup windows? seriously? "I have driven these cars before and this one seems abnormally fast" <--hes obviously very car suave..

for a grand and unless you know somebody that will fix it/paint it for you its not worth it..looks ilke he took it down a freakin guardrail or something. Id never buy a car i know was previously wrecked w/o looking at it for frame kinks.. but if you do buy it, i have a hood and bumper youre welcome to.. i bought them when i was going to repair my old one and still have them laying around.. if youre lookin for a project man.. go get it
