Too cold to wax
Hi
I've waxed a car in my garage at around 45F, I get cabin fever like crazy and the itch to clean up my new used car is getting pretty strong. I've never really considered if its "ok" to wax a car at temperatures not all that much above freezing? Sorry this question seems stupid in hindsight, and MSU's playing tommorow (go spartans) so that'll take out most of my wax the car drive, but im still curious about an answer.
Thank you for your time.

Well I would think that, that would depend on the wax you are using. Does the wax you use goes on and off easy? If so, I think you have no issues..but I am no expert of course. I have waxed in temps colder than 45 degrees with no problems.
as far as I know, it just has to be able to dry, and that should take a while. try putting a space heater in your garage about and hour ahead of time to warm the metal (plastic) a bit.
