Default Just got tint

The tint place told me not to roll down windows for 24 hours. But my friends say they were told 3 days. Should I wait the 3 days? I can leave it in the sun today but tomorrow it's supposed to rain so it must sit in the garage.

I've also got to wash it now. Lots of water apparently involved in the application of this stuff because it's all over the outside of my doors.

+1. If there is no need for you to roll them down then don't. The longer you wait the better.

It all depends on the weather. It its un-godly hot I'd still wait 3 days. I got mine done on my Jeep in the middle of winter when I lived in Indiana and waited 2 weeks and one of the rears still peeled up got it fixed for free so it didn't matter. As I said weatherplays a huge role.

Yah, definitely dont roll it down for atleast a day, but i think 7 is a little excessive...especially if you just leave it out in the sun for a half day or so.

If you have a new model Stang..consider moleskin or your tint will be scratched....

I had them put moleskin in because the tint from the previous owner was scratched all to hell.

So far it seems OK. A friend of mine rolled the passenger window down on me a couple days after I got the tint and it seems fine. I got pulled over yesterday by the cops and had to roll my window down. So far OK. But I intend to keep the windows up until I can get the car to sit out in the sun for at least one more day just to make sure it's cooked on there.

Haha here in Florida it's generally 2 days. However, I try to go as long as possible before doing it.
