Default Armoral sucks???

Ok, so I've seen many posts that say Armoral is not good for keeping your dash, vinyl, etc. in good condition. Something about actually making it more prone to cracking......anyway, what do you all suggest to use instead? I've always used Armoral, but I want to switch after hearing that crap[:-]

yea it attrack dust and crap to your interior, i sometimes use pledge or just warm water. Its not good to put that crap on all the time... i most of the time use tough stuff, it works good and it doesnt leave that oily texture to the interior like armorall does...

I sort of found out it was supposedly bad thesame way you did. I have heard.....well read.... a lot of pepole talking about Meguire's. I used their scratch out stuff yesterday and it was great. Dunno about their interior stuff though. There are other threads on this though.

I use Finish 2001 on my dash and its not greasy or oily. Just leaves a nice shine.

Yes, armorall sucks. It is an petrolium based product. Thats why the dust sticks to it. I use "Vinyl Protector" made by Zep,which is water based, but I work at a detail shop and have an easy supply to it. The meguiars doesnt seem to be as bad as armorall. And, Finsh2001 is a brand. They make all sort of cleaning/detailing products.
