Polishing question
How are you guys polishing the top of your doors and rear quarters around all the trim?
I have a bunch of really fine scratches in those areas that I can't seem to work out. If they were anywhere else on the car, 1 pass of Optimum Polishwould fix it.
So what are you monkeys doing to fix it? I can get the pad on there, but the painters tape tears up the edges of my pads and most of the time the PC just sits there and vibrates doing nothing if I even put the slighest bit of pressure on it. There is only around 2 inches of surface to work on...

I would have to guess use your hands and A LOT of elbow grease. I can't seem to get my pads to stay on very good, so using the outer edge of the pad would be out of the question for me [&:]

you're going to have to get a polish that is workable by hand, you can use your OD light polish, but you'll be there all day. i'd try some menzera SIP followed up by OD light polish. i dont have any first hand experience with the SIP, but i hear it's one of the better polishes to be used by hand. there's no easy way around it, it's going to take time
try doing under your door handles...same case [:@]

I don't have any OD light polish but I do have some Poor Boys SSR1 that I think you can use by hand. I don't have any pads I can use by hand though. I do have a white polishing pad that seperated from the backing though...maybe I could cut a block and use that?
