Obsessive Detail skeptic converted
Hi MF'ers-
Purchased my 08 30 days ago and saw all the posts for Obsessive Detail no rinse Car Wash. thought it sounded too good to be true, I broke down and purchased a bottle from Justin. I only washed the lower rear quarter panel, bucause honestly i didn't trust it on a new car. Well it works! that spot looks great and felt even better, waited a couple of days then did the rest of the car, the Stang looks beautiful.
If my calculations are correct it is about 50 cents a car wash. ($15 for 32 oz.....1oz a wash)
My neighbor has a 2000 Mustang and we did his car too.....looks beautiful.
well worth the investment.
Respectfuly,
Dave

For sure. Near the end of last summer I spent like $80 on Obsessive Detail ONR, waxes, glazes, polishes, etc. It is all good stuff, and while I know the wax and everything is amongst the best you can buy, the only thing that made me say "Wow" after using it was the ONR.
I was skeptical of No Rinse too...
I have a black car and the fear I had of putting more swirls in the paint after all the hard work I put in with my Porter Cable I couldn't bring myself to trust it. But I finally broke down and tried the No Rinse. It's awesome and makes washing our cars so much easier. No more water blowing out of the mirrors & then down the doors, no more water coming out of the door/window trim..none from the spoiler & rear bumper..
Before, the typical car wash using two buckets, rinsing, soaping the car and rinsing again with drying...would take atleast a half hour. Even then there would be a lot of water left in the mirrors & trim that I'd have to deal with once I drove half a mile down the road.
This weekend I timed how long it took for a No Rinse wash. I took my time and didn't rush at all... washing, including drying and dressing the tires only took me 12 minutes. I could have gone much faster!

I dunno man!! I guess I work fast without really noticing?[8D]
I know it was quick because the GF was happy as could be that I used No Rinse this time.
That 12 minutes included hitting each panel twice before drying.

I have also added a capful of the no rinse to traditional car wash.
For my very dirty Subaru, it helps the soap rinse off easily and reduces water spots.
