Default Rear Bumper Inserts/Decals

I want to put "MUSTANG" black decals on the back bumper of my 2000 mustang. Is it true that you get what you pay for? I've found very expensive to very cheap (check out ebay decals - these are only $8 + $2.50 s&h). Do you think they're any good? Has anybody had problems with their decals peeling or cracking? Also, I just got rear-ended, so I'm getting a new bumper next week. Should I have the shop put on the decals, or should I do it myself? Is it very hard? Thanks!!!

I have bumper inserts on mine, and to insure I did get something nice and something that would last, I ordered through www.stang-graphics.com an authorized ford decal seller.

I spent about $30-40 for mine, but I got reflective inserts which I believe cost a tad bit more. I put them on myself, no problem. It's so easy, you could do it on your own easily. But, if you want the shop to do it, that's cool too.

You always get what you pay for when it comes to car parts, etc. The vinyl mine are made out of is really nice vinyl so I trust them when they say it'll last. It was worth the money.

Best of luck in your purchase.

Dont put bumper letter inserts on your stang they make the car look cheap. If you ABSOLUTELY MUST get some then at least get the stainless steel ones...

I don't think so. But the SS inserts really are nice too.

I went with vinyl because I was doing stripes and the ss would look weird with the silver stripes.

But, with just the black decals alone, like he wants, I don't think that looks cheap, as long as you do it right.

I think they look cheap, but i also dont like putting decals and stripes on cars either I like the clean shiny look of paint rather than a reflective decal but thats just my taste. The only decal I'm thinking about getting for my car is the saleen rocker panel stripe looks clean!
