look up VHT niteshade (i think thats what its called). its basically a spray on tint that alot of people on here have used on their taillights and gotten good results with. i actually think there is a writeup somewhere about it.

wrong forum? this is the detailing section... supposed to discuss the appearance of your car... i think this fits much better in the detailing section than in a tech section....

I spent 4 hours the other night trying to remove the Nightshades tint off my rear tails. That **** is like tar when applied. I didnt care for it on my black GT but think it would look better on a car where it gave contrast.
What a bitch to get off though..............

I just ordered a set of stangmods.com smoked taillights, 3rd brakelight, and side markers. A lot of people have use them with good results. They appearantly stay on really well and remove easily if you want them to. My order got shipped out on wednesday so it should be here by around monday hopefully so I can't wait to put them on.

The detailing forum is about cleaning your vehicle and keeping the paint in perfect condition. Not about tail light covers, etc. There are forums for every year vehicle that you can talk about that kind of stuff ... [&:]

or if you read the description of this section, it also includes the appearance of your car... and im pretty sure that tail light covers are strictly an appearance mod, unless they are going on a honda, which in that case it gains 23whp...
