Default CD2 Engine Detailer

Was at the auto store a few days ago looking for something to clean up my engine before the show in Steamboat in a couple weeks, lucky me I saw they had one bottle of CD2 Engine Detailer left. After hearing about how wonderful it was from a few people here I thought I had better try it, so I grabbed it along with a generic degreaser. Laid a plastic sheet over the driveway to catch all the crap, bagged off all the parts that didn't need sprayed and went to town. I used a hand-pumped liquid weed killer/fertilizer sprayer we had that only had water in it to rinse everything off, it worked great- long skinny nozzle got into the lower parts and allowed decently powerful and localized rinsing. Dried things off, used compressed air from a compressor to spray everything else off to dry things further, then went at everything with the CD2. 15-20 minutes with the hood open, then took all the bags off and started it up for another 20 to set it in.

Silly me though, forgot to take before pictures, but I have some old pictures of it, nothing had changed really. Now, there's still rust and it's still dirty, but it's also 40 years old (and yet to be pulled and everything restored) and daily driver so I suppose it's to be expected. I'm quite happy with the results. The sun played some tricks on my camera for the after pictures, so things may look strange.

And from another angle. I think I may go over the hoses one more time to get those looking a little better.
