Just got inside from cleaning the mustang and was thinking..

How often do you guys wake up early, get home from work whatever, and just pull the mustang out and clean it better than you clean yourself? :P

I touch it up everyday with quick detailer, pretty much wherever I park if needed. Then every weekend, wake up nice and early, put on somemusic and just clean and detail everything. I swear it's my favorite pass time. I'm usually out there for 3-5 hours.

How bout you guys?

 

On this note, can you ever wash/wax a car too much? I've had mine for about a week and i've washed it about 3 times already.....

as long as you arent using harsh detergents washing it too often wont do anything but potentially scratch the finish due to the dirt you are washing off.

the only thing waxing it to often will do is you can actually get build up on the car to were it makes it harder to wax.

Ive known guys to go over their car weekly with some pure carnabua wax but detail it with a non abrasive polish, sealent and then the carnabua again say 3 times a year.

 

I enjoy cleaning/detailing my car, but it also depends on my mood. Sometimes all I think about it going out there to clean it and sometimes I really would rather just drive it a bit. It doesn't get very dirty though because it spends 90% of its life in the garage.

 

i clean my car at least twice a week, it annoys me if there is dirt and other stuff on her.

 

I usually do a quickie two times a week and then I do a good wash and wax on the weekend I use Zaino stuff makes the paint look like glass.
