ive been tryin to figure out what color im gonna go with, and ive been thinkin about the mineral gray thats on the new models

has anyone ever seen this color on the sn95's? was hopin someone might have some pics and opinions?

What year is that cobra....doesn't look like Mineral to me, unless the camera color is off. Mineral was not a color option during the '94-98 years. Mineral Grey was only available in 2001 and 2002 on the SN-95 cars, and only in 2005 for the new S197s. There are several colors out there that are close and often called Mineral, but they arent......Dk Shadow Grey (which is what that cobra appears to be) Tungsten, Alloy, and a couple others.

IMO, any shade of dark, metallic grey is killer

yea i know they didnt produce them in that color. i like the mineral gray but i just wish it was a little darker.. are there any darker shades from ford that u know of?

 

dark shadow grey is a little darker than the mineral grey. the mineral grey also looks like it has a slight brown tint to it as well. here is a comparison of the two...

Those pictures don't really tell it....Dk Shadow and Mineral are much closer than that in person, and they are often confused with each other. Its funny to see people post all the time about their 2003 Mineral Grey or their 2002 Dk Shadow Grey If you want Darker, go to a Ford dealer and look at Alloy...its a closer tint to what is posted above as Dk. Shadow. I believe Alloy is still available for the 2008's, but definitely on the 2007's.

Ryan is correct that Mineral tends to have a brownish tint to it.
