I had exactly the opposite results so somethings up and I used it on a Ford Focus I hadn't washed in over six months, and hadn't waxed in probably a year! Used the ice clay bar, then the liquid wax and it was completely smooth. Maybe you put on with sand paper!

I had use Turtle Wax Ice products… but I prefer Autopia Car Care products. I like the wax. It is very easy to apply. You don't have to worry about getting it in crevices or around the trim and emblems. You don't get any white residue. You also don't have to worry about getting it on the black parts where ordinary car wax will leave white stains.

try it here: http://www.autopia-carcare.com/car-c...t-sealant.html

As you said you clayed 1st, I just washed & applied wax. I'm sure if I had prepped it right before the wax it would have been smoother but I'm not going to clay everytime I wax.
Like I said it works nicely for the trim.

Mabey I had an old bottle, but the wax streaked the hell out of my black paint. I went over the whole car with Maguires NXT, & all was well again.

with my plastic trim, the best thing to use it megs back to black and a terry cloths. but tire shine works really good on trim. but sometimes after rain it can blend and then it gets on the paint and its a little hard to get off.

I tried the "synthetic paste wax" from them for a while before I bought some products off Justin. I used to like it but now that I have used the OD Wet Wax I hate it. I just use it for my wheels/undercarriage/door jams and the like.

Never had a car with flawless paint so I use that TurtleWax ColorMatch stuff with the colored dye in it. Works great for hiding scratches that go into the color or beyond. Though anymore all you can get is black, red, blue, use to come in all sort of colors. Though online you can get any color, stores don't carry but the 3.
