if you had a machine why's your hand hurt so bad??
i think that was what svtbill was getting at.
either way nice job, after its all done throw up some pics
or a pic after each step is done would be nice too

i think a lot of the time i used only one hand to hold it so that could have done it. yeah, ive been photo-documenting stuff as i go, im not sure if it does it justice, but ill throw it up here for laughs
totally double posting my own thread here, but quick question - how do you prevent this powder from like ejecting off the side of the buffer when you polish? on on the second step and the car is like white with the polish powder. am i using too much? i dont have that "pad conditioner" or whatever so that might be it too. its just kinda annoying wiping up a pile of powder/dust after each time
When you first load the pad you only want to put on a couple of nickel sized dots, after that, only a couple of pea sized dots will be needed for each panel since the pad is already loaded with product. If you are using too much product, you will get a lot of residue. Also, you may want to clean the pad every so often once it starts getting caked with product, this will also reduce the residue.
If you're seeing powder, it sounds like you may be overbuffing your polish. Make your work area smaller, and quit buffing before you start to dry-buff the polish. If you need to polish multiple times, wipe and reapply.
alright! it is finished. sorry these pictures are kinda crappy, but the first few really show the water marks and some scratches from an ice scraper. thanks again guys, the car looks beyond new
EDIT: forgot the pictures haha
