Default Griot's Garage?

Howdy,

Bit of a noob to the forums so pardon the crucifixion if posting about other non-sponsoring vendors is frowned upon. Looking for some guidance here.

I worked at the US Post office a few years back and saw a lot of interesting magazines come through (not those kind, those were sealed up in black cello-wrap). One of the interesting ones was for Griot's Garage out of Washington State. Their products are used by the LeMay Car Museum http://www.lemaymuseum.org/for detailing all the cars. I am in no way affiliated, but wanted to see if anyone uses their stuff. The speed shine is supposed to be the cats meow, and the polishing clay outta sight.

Can anyone give me some advice here about the company? Can't find anything on MF using the search feature for griots.

I know, I know, Griot's has a lot of imports, but if you are like me and like lots of diff cars, that won't bug you too much

Kinda surprised no one uses their stuff...OK then, what is the best stuff you have used (and where is the best deal?Would Iget a discount for being forum memebers w/ the supporting vendors?).

Polishing clay
Machinewax
Microfiber cloths
etc.

Thanks

Yeah you can get a discount here with ObsessiveDetail. 10% MF discount
Justin sales some great stuff. I own everything he sells and its all nice, quality products.
I think alot of members here will back me up on this also.
Justin has some great microfibers. I'd tell you how many of them I own but you'd think i'm crazy.

I'm not affiliated with O.D. but he is my friend and I do support him any time I get the chance. He's a sponsor. Why not.
Customer service is top notch. He's here and will answer any detailing question you have regardless if its his product or someone elses.
Shipping is lightning fast and the rates are reasonable considering the price of gas/diesel these days.
I really dont think you'll be let down

I was at the Griots facility for a stang show last weekend. They demo'd their stuff on a few cars. Absolutely amazing what their stuff does. It's expensive. But after watching them work over a black s197 (with TONS of swirls), I would say it's worth every penny.

I've used Griot's Garage over the years. The plastic trim - re-blackener works well, but runs a it when it rains. Their engine bay detailer kit worked pretty well. Quick detailer is good.
