Default Interior Trim

Does anyone know where I could find the center trim for around the radio and also the entire trim piece for around the shifter? I'm trying to find silver trim. Can you get the oem silver trim from the mach 1's anywhere, cause that would work too.

all mustangs come with that trim black. you are going to have to take it out and paint it silver, or you can do it the lazy way and buy the silver decal that goes over it (but it doesnt look as good IMO)

I did try painting it and it didn't turn out the best. Thought instead of messing around painting I could just buy it. The mach 1's do have silver trim in them. I believe it was an option.

What happened with painting it? Why does it not look good?

If you tried to do it too fast, you probably put too much paint on at once.

You need to put thin layers on and make sure it's completely dry before applying the next coat.

There are some interior painting threads that would be beneficial for you to check out.
