On my wifes Jetta and my Cutlass I use water blade and then wipe it down with a microfiber towel. On my Camaro I only use microfiber towels, the paint seems very soft and the clear coat gets scratched really easy.

My hood seems to be the worst spot on the car, maybe because it was painted at SLP insead of the GM plant, I will probably just repaint the nose of the car anyway with some good PPG stuff and be done with it.

I just use a good ol' microfiber. If you can, use a hairdryer for the best job ever. (with cold air not hot)

A water blade is your best bet, i've used chamois on a few cars and stopped because of swirl marks. With a chamois there is no place for any dust or dirt to hide. It will scratch your car if your not very careful. After you use the water blade, buy some Scott Shop Towels and blott any let over water, don't drag them on your car. The shop towels are like bounty but far superior and dosen't leave any lint on your car. There also good for drying your wheels. I use the tuttle wax water blade also own the California water blade but I don't like it as much, but it is still good.
