Since you already have a swirl remover, I would start with that as your first step. Then follow that with Wet Glaze, the glaze will give you a lot of depth and wetness plus add some nice slickness. Lastly, top with a carnauba wax. My Wet Wax is a great wax for the money, it will add some nice depth and wetness plus protection. If you want to step up to a high end carnauba wax you can't go wrong with Wet Obsession. Wet Obsession looks amazing on black!

Dust your car every night, basically a wipe down. That'll keep it looking fresh longer.

Quik detailer is your friend!!!! and if u cant wait for the wax from Juztang try Meguiars step 2 polish and follow that with Meguiars Tech wax 2.0....remember wash, clay, and swirl remover first ....the last steps mentioned will look deeper and wetter with great reflections and shine and the paint will be slick and smooth as glass..... I've been using Megs for years just tried the tech wax on the new 2008 black mustang How much better is the wet obsession? And doesn't a glaze just fill in and then show up next time you wash?

You will notice a big difference with the Wet Obsession, the wax is amazing!

Some glazes have a lots of fillers and oils that hide the imperfections. The OD Wet Glaze is an acrylic glaze which doesn't have all of the oils. Wet Glaze will also add some of its own protection and can be put on before or after a wax. I like to put on Wet Glaze right before a car show to give the paint that extra pop.

It's a never ending battle with a black car - I detailed mine on saturday then it rained for 2 days. But yes - quick detailer is your friend for keeping it looking good in between washes.

I would be really careful with QD between washes. I have a black 04 GT too and I've tried spraying down my car with QD and wiping it off with a clean MF towel to get rid of the light dust and etc and I ended up putting scratches on my car. The only way it will work would be to constantly turn to a clean side of the towel and in the end you may be needing a lot of towels.
