Yesterday i cut off my mufflers and put two pieces of pipe in there place using the converters as mufflers. Does this help me or hurt me??????

You left your converters in their original location, you just removed your mufflers right?</P>


If that's the case, you free'd up a couple HP. Minimal HP though, 4-5hp. Need to replace your h-pipe before you make any hp thats worth the time </P>

well don't do an off road h or x pipe and those muffler cut outs. I did that for about a whole day. I had nobackpressure in my car and it ran like s**t except at wot it was so freaky noisy, on the freeway cars goin in the opposite directions were turning their heads. the next day I was at the muffler shop gettin my good ol flows put back on.

Something else was wrong with your car then. Definetly wasn't the cut-outs. I'll guarentee that.</P>

toss the converters and buy some high folw muflers.
