If I had a 99-04 Cobra, I'd throw these on it.

I think you could wet sand a buff your headlights. I have noe experience doing it but I have heard of people doing it.

wet sanding them is not difficult. I did it on my 01 and they turned out ok. It was better than buying new ones. You start with about 1000 grit paper and go progessively finer. I forget the exact grit numbers but I used 3 types. Then finished them with Meguires Plastix compound or some sort of fine buffing compound. I wasn't real happy with the results, but its alot better than buying new ones. Good luck

depending on the condition

1.i started off with 220 grit, then went on to 400 grit, next was 800. I did all of these without the water process.

2. i then went with 1000 grit, water sanding of course. Next i went with 1500grit (water sanding) The last one i was going to do was 2000 grit, but all the stores were out.

make sure you tape the black moulding on the head lights like so

this is how my headlights looked before

this is how they came out

i'm not finished just yet, as i need to go over them with 1500 one more time and then with the 2000 grit. for the finer sandpaper use water. i wiped water on the headlights and the sandpaper.

after above process is complete put some plastic polisher on em. i bought this one

then polish them with a polisher and add clear coat. i chose this one

then let the clear cure (drying time of at least 3 hours) and polish the clear also

all the parts were bought at an autozone. the sandpaper was the assorted one varied from 220, 400, 800, 1000. i bought the 1500 in body repair store.

i have yet to finish mine up, but i already like how they look. here's a light on picture

all i need to do is buy the 2000 grit to finish them up. i will update this as i finish up.

and a sander will definitely make you love life
